ITINERARY

DAY 0: HANOI - SAPA (dinner)

10:30am: Cabin bus Hanoi - Sapa


Our guide will pick you up from Hanoi old quarter, travel with you by cabin bus to Sapa. 
You arrive in Sapa about 5pm, check-in hostel and spend a night in Sapa with our group, time to meet and know all about the people in group. Dinner , visit Sapa town, night market together. 

DAY 1: SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner ‑ Overnight in Ta Van village (homestay)

07:30: Have breakfast, briefing on trekking route, safety and local customs before descending into the Muong Hoa valley.

08:30   Begin the 6–7 km trek on a narrow dirt trail that winds through vegetable gardens and rolling rice terraces. 

Y Linh Ho – a small Black H’mong settlement scattered along the mountainside. Learn how indigo plants are turned into traditional dye; try your hand at fabric batik if you wish.

Continue trekking along the Muong Hoa river. The path alternates between gentle slopes and short rocky sections (trekking level: easy‑moderate).

12:30   Picnic lunch is served at a riverside rest stop (vege and non-vege)

Cross a suspension bridge and enter Lao Chai village, home to hundreds of Black H’mong families. 

Follow the valley floor for another 3 km to reach Ta Van village, inhabited by the Giay ethnic minority. Check in at a charming family‑run homestay.

16:30   Free time: shower, relax or join the host family in preparing the evening meal.

18:30   Dinner of mountain specialities: spring rolls, grilled pork with lemongrass, local herbs, sticky rice, and a taste of homemade “ruou ngo” (corn spirit).

20:00   Cultural exchange with all member of groups


DAY 2: TA VAN – GIANG TA CHAI – SA PAN – SAPA (Breakfast, lunch)

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch, bus back to Hanoi in the afternoon

07:30   Wake to rooster calls and mist drifting through the valley. Enjoy a hearty breakfast 

08:30   Start today’s 8 km trek, crossing bamboo forests and small waterfalls toward Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao village famed for colorful embroidery and herbal medicine.

Stop at the hanging bridge over the Giàng Ta Chai waterfall for photos. Your guide explains Red Dao marriage traditions and the significance of their red headdresses.

Ascend a gentle hill dotted with cardamom plantations, then descend to Su Pan commune. The scenery opens to panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son range.

12:00   Picnic lunch on a terrace ledge: fried noodles with vegetables, pork dumplings, fresh fruit. Relax while watching buffalos plough the fields below.

13:00   Meet the vehicle on the main road, say goodbye to your local porters, and drive 30 min back to Sa Pa town.

14:00  End in Sapa town, wait for the bus back to Hanoi.
