Ha Giang Loop Itinerary
3 days 2 nights itinerary
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Lung Vai Village – Cán Ty – Lao Xa
Breakfast at Bong Hostel before departure.
Drive about 30 km to Lung Vai Village.
Ride through Bac Sum Pass and Heaven Gate, stopping for panoramic views.
Lunch break around 12:00–1:30 PM.
Continue to Can Ty peak and pass through the scenic valley of Sung La.
Evening check-in at a H’Mong homestay in Lao Xa village.
Dinner with the family, including “happy water” (local rice wine) at around 7:00PM.
Day 2: Lao Xa – H’Mong King’s Palace – Chinese Border – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River
Breakfast at 8:00 AM
Morning walk through the village to see H’Mong silversmiths at work.
Visit the historic H’Mong King’s Palace and make a stop at the Chinese border.
Lunch around 12:00–1:30 PM.
Journey across the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, with a short hike for breathtaking
views.
Boat trip on the Nho Que River, with time for swimming and riverside camping.
Hotpot dinner at around 7:00 PM.
Day 3: Nho Que River – Meo Vac - Ha Giang city (Bong hostel)
Breakfast at 8:00 AM.
Go to the peak of Meo Vac town, enjoy coffee with panorama view, go to Mau Due, through Duong Thuong valley with amazing view.
Lunch around 12:00–1:30 PM
Afternoon return to Ha Giang City.
Arrive back at Bong Hostel around 5:00 PM – end of the trip.

4 days 3 nights itinerary
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Lung Vai Village – Cán Ty – Lao Xa
Breakfast at Bong Hostel before departure.
Drive about 30 km to Lung Vai Village.
Ride through Bac Sum Pass and Heaven Gate, stopping for panoramic views.

Continue to Can Ty peak and pass through the scenic valley of Sung La.

Visit the Ngoc Long River: bamboo rafting, cave swimming and peaceful scenery.
Visit Du Gia Waterfall.
Evening check-in at a local homestay.
Dinner at around 7:00 PM.
Day 4: Du Gia – Minh Ngoc – Phia Dau Waterfall – Ha Giang City
Breakfast at 8:00 AM.
Visit minority villages on the way to Phia Dau Waterfall.
Outdoor cooking experience: learn how to start a fire and prepare food inside
bamboo.
Lunch around 12:00–1:30 PM
Afternoon return to Ha Giang City.
Arrive back at Bong Hostel around 5:00 PM – end of the trip.
